How to scrobble Internet radio to last.fm
A short description on how to scrobble Internet radio streams, like Digitally Imported or other radio channels, to last.fm. There are some posts on the Internet saying that scrobbling of online radio stations is not possible. Luckily that is not true. With Foobar2000 and a plugin called foo_audioscrobbler scrobbling is easy.
- Download foobar2000 music player from www.foobar2000.org
- Install foobar2000 (but don't start the program)
- Download foo_audioscrobbler from www.mp3tag.de/en/fb2k.html
- "Install" the foobar plugin by extracting the .dll file into foobar's components directory.
- Start foobar2000 and go to "Preferences"
- Go to "Tools -> Audioscrobbler" and fill in your last.fm account details
- Start playing your favourite Internet radio station
- The tunes should now be scrobbled to last.fm
